Not right now; still recovering from Issue 01, haha. We do have a pitch call list that goes out when we are commissioning work; if you are interested, here is the link: https://broccolimag.com/pages/about#signup
Omg... the way my initial reaction to the phrase "a music magazine" was "eh not for me" -- then 2 minutes into reading this, I was 1000% sold 😆 Just ordered my copy and I can't wait for it to arrive!!
Thanks for sharing this glorious conversation!! I loved hearing how you thought about the project, and there are sooo many gems and words of wisdom in your exchange. "If you strip away the references and clichés, what happens? How do you actually explain a sound?" What a beautiful question 💞
You're exactly the kind of reader we hope for! You also highlighted one of the challenges we have with this magazine, because it's not what people expect from a "music magazine", but calling it a "magazine about sound" doesn't really define it either. So I'm grateful that you read the post and found a connection with it!
I stumbled on this magazine two days ago and it’s made me so happy. Excited to share it with friends. Thanks y’all!
Hearing that makes me so happy!
Wow I love this project. Are you looking for any submissions right now?
Thank you! At the moment no, but when the time comes that we start on a new publication, we'll share our pitch/submission calls on Substack!

Comrades, I will show up as a trench coat full of birds to knock on any door you build, yesterday-tomorrow.
Who knows what freaky door will come next!
